WOW! Kaffy Is One MEAN Dancer Even As A 5months Pregnant Woman (Video)

WOW! Kaffy Is One MEAN Dancer Even As A 5months Pregnant Woman (Video)
Have you seen this? If you haven’t, then you need to watch it – its just a little under 7mins.  You’ll enjoy it. We’ve seen Kaffy dance in numerous videos, but none can top this one – its probably one of her best performances yet.
It’s a video of Nigeria’s top dancer, Kafayat ‘Kaffy’ Shafau-Ameh who is currently 5months pregnant(Yes, that’s right, 5 MONTHS expecting her second baby) displaying why she is the best dancer in Nigeria, hands down,  on the recently concluded #MTNProjectFame Season 6.  You’ll think with being pregnant would slow her down.
Kaffy dances with iMagento(a dance group) whilst her husband, Joseph ‘Pappy J’ Ameh KILLS IT on the drums.  The choreography – a tribute to Michael Jackson – is fantastic and very entertaining.
The dance  kicks off with Michael Jackson’s Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough, then goes into Smooth Criminal – where pregnant Kaffy moonwalks(you’ve got to see it) beautifully to the centre of the stage.  Kaffy and her dancers (imagento), then show off a few break dance moves then, Pappy J changes the beat of the drums, into Davido’s Skelewu, high life and Fuji. Loved the Fuji bit as it rained praises on Kafaya to show what she’s got – which she executed brilliantly.
Pappy J also gets his 1min of reeling the drum whilst the dancers freestyled individually without Kaffy to late Dagrin’s Pon, Pon, Pon. The performance ended with a mad drumroll from Pappy J, and pregnant Kaffy ’killing’all the other dancers which she clearly won hands down.
Its a great video to watch  - you’ll enjoy it.  Kaffy remains the best dancer in Nigeria, period. Whoever would be taking the crown from her would have to try really hard.  If you can beat Kaffy, show your hands!
Watch the video below of Kaffy, iMagento and Pappy J’s performance on #MTNProjectFame Season 6.

It’s K-Cee’s Time”! Check Out the “Limpopo” Master on the Cover of Mystreetz Magazine’s New Issue

K-Cee Mystreetz - September 2013 - BellaNaija
K-Cee‘s growth in the limelight this year has been immense as he’s been lacing us with back to back hits and he doesn’t look like he’ll be stopping anytime soon. The new issue of Mystreetz magazine shows the catchy crooner behind such hits as “Okpekete” & “Limpopo” flashing a huge grin in a suit and tie – taking some pointers from Justin Timberlake, I see.
According to Sesan Adeniji, publisher of Mystreetz magazine,
“After all the fear that enveloped the Nigerian music industry years ago due to the exit of foreign record companies such as CBS/SONY Music and EMI, despite the boom in revenue for artistes today in an industry surviving on a dilapidated structure, one major lesson for me is this; hard work does not kill, ignorance does. Majority of the artistes successful today has justified the reason why focus, persistence, carving a niche and being business minded are all the vital ingredients for longevity in the Nigerian music industry.
Like they say; it’s all about time and season for every artiste but a handful of artistes have defied the odds to remain rooted in this industry and Kcee is one of them. He has been in the mix of things for over a decade churning out one significant hit after another and up on till this moment, he remains one of the most relevant artistes in the year 2013 with his hit song Limpopo gathering more fan base across borders, age groups and gender. With all the endorsements and a filled up performance calendar, it’s high time we all agreed that it’s Kcee’s time. Considering all the negative press and fans fearing that he wouldn’t stand alone after the break up from the two man group, KC Presh; Kcee has somehow broken off that “group break-up jinx” by releasing eight tracks culminating into mega hits, through this, it is obvious that hard work does not kill. With focus and persistence, the time will come when the world will celebrate you. It’s Kcee’s Time and there’s no doubt about it”.

David Moyes rejected Sir Alex Ferguson’s advice

Stubborn Child: David Moyes rejected Sir Alex Ferguson’s advice

David Moyes rejected Sir Alex Ferguson’s advice to retain his Manchester United backroom team, according to Eric Steele.
Former United goalkeeping coach Steele was axed by Moyes in the close season, along with assistant manager Mike Phelan and first-team coach Rene Meulensteen.
Moyes chose to bring Chris Woods, Steve Round and Jimmy Lumsden with him from Everton, whilst also appointing former United and Toffees midfielder Phil Neville in his first full-time coaching role.
United’s 2-1 home defeat by West Brom on Saturday means the club has now made its worst start to a league season for 24 years.
With the pressure already on Moyes right from the start of his Old Trafford reign, Steele has now revealed how the summers changes were handled.
“He spoke to me, Mick and Rene,” Steele is quoted as telling fanzine United We Stand. “I told him I thought it was a brave decision.

“He listened to the manager’s advice, but he wanted to be his own man.”
Steele arrived at United in 2008, having previously worked at Manchester City, and is credited with turning David De Gea into one of the league’s best goalkeepers after a shaky start.
The 59-year-old says he respects Moyes’ decision but is not convinced it was right for the club.
“I didn’t want to leave. Why would I?” he added. “I knew that David was coming in and wondered who he’d bring.
“You had the United perspective – the manager saying, ‘Keep what we’ve got, keep the continuity, work with them and they’ll guide you through. You’re taking on a massive machine here. You’ve gone from Marks and Spencer’s to Harrods.’
“Then there’s David’s viewpoint, which I understand. I know him professionally. I know his work ethic, his hands-on approach.

“I don’t blame him for doing what he did. I’ve been in the game long enough to know how it is.
“But it’s ironic, isn’t it? You’ve just been part of a team that has had a great season and won the league. David De Gea’s had his best season. Does it make sense that you’re not retained to continue the good work? Sadly, that’s out of my hands.”

ferguson_Moyes

United find themselves in 12th spot in the Premier League table after six games, eight points off the pace set by leaders Arsenal.
Despite the upheaval at Old Trafford, Steele still thinks the personnel in Moyes’ squad will start producing better results.
“There were massive changes – the manager, chief executive, Scholes retiring and the coaches,” said Steele.
“But there are enough players in that dressing room to win when it really starts.
“My time was up, I’m proud of what I did at United and I have great memories.”Chuil

Death toll rises to 78 in Yobe student attack

The death toll at the College of Agriculure, Gujba ,Yobe State has risen to 78. At least 50 of them were students who were attacked in the early hours of yesterday morning as they slept in their hostel. Some were shot, others were butchered with swords and knives. The gunmen, suspected to be Boko Haram sect members later moved to houses around the hostel, killing residents they find. Then they blocked the Damaturu-Maiduguri road and killed travellers. So far, 78 bodies have been counted, with many more people still unaccounted for. A student of the college who survived the massacre explained what happened...
"They started gathering students into groups outside, then they opened fire and killed one group and then moved onto the next group and killed them. It was so terrible. They came with guns around 1a.m. and went directly to the male hostel and opened fire on them. The college is in the bush, so the other students were running around helplessly as guns went off and some of them were shot down.”
The gunmen stormed the hostels in two double-cabin pickup all-terrain vehicles and on motorcycles, and were dressed in military camouflage. They attacked 4 male hostels but avoided the only hostel reserved for girls. Swords and knives were used to kill at least 30 male students. Some corpses that were found were without heads while others had heads hanging to the bodies. Wailing parents and relatives were at the Sani Abacha Specialist Hospital mortuary in Damaturu this morning to identify their loved ones. This can't continue. This government has to do something about the situation.

If you're unlawfully sacked you can sue your bosses. Jenny did & won

People get sacked indiscriminately in this country and they don't know that they can actually sue and get compensated. Jennifer Adighije Okolo, the creative director of House of Silk, sued her former bosses and won. According to a report by Maestro Media, an Industrial Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos gave a ruling in favour of Jennifer against her former employer, Helios Towers, a telecom firm.
According to Jennifer, she had been graded excellent by her immediate boss in her yearly appraisal, only for another appraisal body (the management review team) to have given an appraisal of below average, consequent upon which her appointment was terminated.

In his Judgement, Justice O. Abaseki-Osaghae said - The claimant testified as the only witness in support of her claims. She also stated that her performance was very much appreciated by the defendant that when there was a job rotation, she was asked to take charge as Head, Operation/Planning in September 2009. That all through her employment with the defendant, she was conscious of her personal objective with the defendant company, which she knew would form the basis of her rating in the annual appraisal.

"It is the law that an employer is not bound to give reason for terminating the appointment of its employee but where the employer gives a reason, the law imposes on him a duty to establish the reason to the satisfaction of the court.

“I find that the said management review team was acting out a script when, spitefully, maliciously and without any basis, wrote on the claimant’s appraisal form ‘Below expectation’ and recommended that her appointment be terminated.”

The court upheld the claimant’s position that she was entitled to compensation, since she signed the restrictive covenant, not to work for any other telecommunication company, until after two years of her leaving the company.   “She has kept to this covenant. I, therefore, award the sum of N9million as compensation being her salary for two years from January 2010 to January 31, 2012 pursuant to section 19 (d) of the National Industrial Act, 2006.

“For all the reasons given above, I find that the claimant has proved her case. I hereby, declare and make the following orders: the claimant’s employment with the defendant was wrongfully terminated. The letter of termination is hereby set aside. The reason given in the termination notice written by the defendant that the claimant’s “performance has failed to meet acceptable standard” is false and malicious.

“The defendant is to pay the claimant the sum of N4.5million as damages for wrongful termination of her appointment. The defendant is to pay the claimant the sum of N9million as compensation for the period February 1, 2010 to January 31, 2012. The sums are to be paid within 30 days from the date of this judgment. I award in favour of the claimant cost of N50, 000 to be paid by the defendant. Judgment is entered accordingly.”

T.B. Joshua Pursues Evil Spirit Out Of Jim Iyke [PHOTOS]

Honda Things: T.B. Joshua Pursues Evil Spirit Out Of Jim Iyke [PHOTOS]
Making a surprise appearance in The SCOAN, Nollywood superstar Jim Iyke entered quietly and unannounced, joining worshippers from around the world as they listened to the inspiring message from renowned Prophet T.B. Joshua.
As The SCOAN’s Wise Men moved through the congregation in prayer, the lightning of God located Iyke and he was no longer able to control himself. Lunging towards one of the Wise Man as if to attack him, an evil spirit that had been tormenting the life of Jim Iyke manifested! The congregation in the auditorium and the overflow congregations shouted in surprise as they began to witness the deliverance of a man they were all too familiar with.
Jim Iyke, born James Ikechukwu Esomugha, is currently one of the highest paid actors in the Nigerian movie industry and cultivated the name “Nollywood bad boy” for himself. As one of the most successful actors in Nollywood, he has starred in over 150 films to date. He has launched his own film production unit, “Untamed Productions” and his own music label, “Untamed Records” with his very own album, “Who Am I?” He is also founder of “Jim Iyke Foundation”, contributing funds to children of the less privileged and children with physical challenges.
Among his movie awards are: The Teenage Choice Award, Best Actor In Nigerian Entertainment Award, African Achievement Award, Best Actor of the Year (Mode Men Award 2010), Sexiest Man In Nigeria 2008, Best African Actor (NET Awards).
The evil spirit that had tormented the life of Jim Iyke for so many years began to manifest, confessing that it was the cause of Iyke’s setback and disappointment. It confessed that it was the reason he could never marry, stating that it would not allow him to love anyone. It continued confessing that Iyke was the biggest and that it was only God’s grace that had kept him. As the evil spirit inside him struggled to attack the Wise Man, the supremacy of the Holy Spirit continued to overpower it.
The deliverance continued but the battle was not against flesh and blood; it was against the spiritual entities that had been causing crisis in his life, family, health, career and future.
To the jubilation of the congregation, the name of Jesus Christ prevailed over the evil spirit and Jim Iyke received his freedom. Overwhelmed with what had just happened, Iyke immediately knelt in God’s presence, appreciating His Creator for his miraculous deliverance.
The humility demonstrated by Jim Iyke in submitting himself to the power of God should prompt others in his industry to make the same life-saving choice.

Oil Tycoon Kola Aluko & Ghanaian-British Designer Ozwald Boateng Launch $500 Million African Development Fund – Africa50

Ozwald Boateng & Kola Aluko Launch Africa50 - BellaNaija - September 2013
On Wednesday 25th September 2013, Ghanaian born British fashion designer Ozwald Boateng & Nigerian Oil tycoon Kola Aluko launched the African50 initiative.
This platform is an African infrastructure project development fund which was formed as a result of the joint venture between the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Made In Africa Foundation (MIAF; a non-profit organisation founded by Ozwald Boateng & Kola Aluko). The initiative is set out to provide a catalyst for African development and growth by focusing on commercially viable infrastructure projects in Africa.
Infrastructure drives growth. If we focus on the big infrastructure projects- power, good roads, railways – then we will be creating an enabling environment for entrepreneurs in other areas of endeavor which are non-infrastructure,” Aluko said in the online broadcast.
Re-emphasizing the need for such an investment, Ozwald reiterated that Africa could not properly compete without the infrastructure that would drive trade. “Clearly as Africans to compete we need the roads and rail, telecommunications and urban environments that stimulate and ensure trade,” Boateng said in a statement.
So far, the cause has raised about $250 million; Aluko and the AfDB have contributed $50 million each to the fund. In conjunction with the AfDb, MIAF is determined to attract investments from development finance institutions, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds and governments towards reaching the funds goal of $500 million by the first half of 2014. The money will be used to fund feasibility studies of large-scale infrastructure projects. Made In Africa is also planning to raise a $10 billion project finance fund.
Oscar winning actor Jamie Fox, who is a fanatic of Ozwald’s designs was present at the launch. The official launch took place at the NASDAQ in New York.

Boko Haram gunmen this morning Sunday September 29th stormed the student dormitory of the College of Agriculture in Gujba, Yobe State, shooting students as they slept, killing at least 30 of them. The death toll could be way higher as several dead bodies were recovered from hostels, classrooms, bushes and corners around the school.

Area Military spokesman Lazarus Eli confirmed the incident and said that security forces have been deployed to the school to protect surviving students until they can all leave the campus. Eli said the attack was carried out by “Boko Haram terrorists who went into the school and opened fire on students while they were sleeping"

NHRC Clamours For Urgent Implemenatation Of Child Rights Act Bill

Advocacy again has been drawn to the urgent implementation of the Child Rights Act bill which has being adopted by twenty four states out of the thirty six states in the federation to stop unlawful practices children are being subjected to.
Children seemed to be the target for this gathering which brought together representatives of different NGOs, the civil society, legal Practitioners as well as security agencies who are directly or indirectly involved with cases associated with violating the rights of children in the state.
These unlawful practices range from stigmatizing and branding them witches, subjecting them to unlawful traditional practises like genital mutilations, rape among others.
This formed the focus of discussion at a town hall meeting organised by the National Human Rights Commission for the promotion and protection on Human Rights in Nigeria in Calabar, the Cross River State Capital.
Secretary and C.E.O of the Commission, Ben Angwe, advised the students to be abreast of their human rights as this will not only expose them to the inherent benefits of knowing these rights, but enhance their ability to seek redress when such rights are violated.
According to Angwe, the enforcement of the implementation of the Child Rights Act would give children a voice in the society and put a stop to the illicit practices they are subjected to.
Guest Lecturer of the meeting, a Professor of Law as well as the Attorney General of Cross River state who doubles as the state’s Commissioner for justice, Nsongurua Udombana chaired the occasion.
He emphasised that, the issue of Human Rights is a collective one and urged the general public to support the commission towards this realization.
Other participants whose rights have been trampled upon used the forum to call on the attention of the Commission for its restoration.
With the National Human Rights Commission Amendment Act 2010 giving the Commission additional Powers to enforce the rights of any Nigerian whose rights have been violated either by individual, group or even government, it is hoped that justice will be meted on all who have been victims of abuse.

Ogun Labour Party Goes Spiritual Over Anambra Gov’ship Election

The political turf in Ogun state is becoming more and more interesting as parties jostle for relevance in the build-up to the 2015 general elections; the situation is not different in the labour party as gladiators are perfecting ways and means to achieve popularity and recognition.
The Ogun state chapter of the Labour Party has denied rumours making the rounds that the party  has anointed  the candidature of a particular candidate  as the party’s flag bearer  for the 2015 governorship election ,describing the rumour as baseless and unfounded.
At the state executive council meeting of the party held at car wash, Adatan, Abeokuta, the state capital, the party leadership asked members to disregard the unfounded rumour.
While asking members to be more committed  to the course of the party towards emerging victorious in the next general elections, the party however prayed for the success of its governorship candidate in Anambra state Dr Ifeanyi Uba.
To achieve the desired victory for the party in the state and especially in the coming governorship election in Anambra, the Ogun state chapter of the party has asked its members to embark on prayer sessions.
Meanwhile the expression of interest for the number one seat in the state may have begun in earnest as the former governorship candidate under the defunct Peoples Party of Nigeria (PPN) Mr Gboyega Isiaka has approached the party to state his intention.
In all of this the party leadership has promised a level playing ground for all aspirants in the build-up to the general elections.

Banky W – “I Shave My Head & Beard Myself”

Superpower Of Life: Banky W – “I Shave My Head & Beard Myself”

In a recent interview, EME honcho Banky W talked about his personal life, his opinion on the Forbes list and much more.
Excerpts from the interview below.
What have you been up to recently?
I’ve been working hard, pretty much. On the music side, I’ve been working on collaborations with different artistes. I’ve recently completed really good songs for Black Magic, Sarkodie, MoCheddah, Lynxxx, Ketchup, Victoria Kimani and Vector. Internally (within EME), I’m contributing to Wizkid’s album, as well as projects for Skales, ShayDee and Niyola. Outside of all this, I’ve been giving speeches at various events, as well as working on a couple of potentially great movie projects.
Is Banky in a relationship?
Not at the moment.
Tell us something no one knows about you.
I’m not sure how many people know this, but I shave my head and shape my beard myself. I’m my own barber. I’ve been doing it for years. It started when I was in University and didn’t have a lot of money, I learnt to maintain it myself so I didn’t need to spend money on it every week. And now I’m good at it so I’m my own barber. I will probably open a barbershop at some point.
Coming up at the 10th position of the Forbes rating, how did you feel?
I don’t believe very much in such things. Let’s be honest, the real wealthy people are the businessmen like Dangote and the politicians (some of whom got there by looting Nigeria). They’re the ones with real money. This entertainment business is too much hype. It is more fame than fortune. So I’m not thrilled to it and I don’t think any of us should buy into it too much. I’d rather be wealthy and quiet than famous and broke.
What is your normal day like?
I try to pray but I definitely need to do a better job at that. At least three or four times a week, I try to put in work-out sessions with my personal trainer. After that it’s a mix of things; meetings, press obligations, social outings and performances or appearances that I’m booked to make.
How did you manage having a scandal free reputation?
I’d say probably the same reasons I stated above, plus, I carry myself the way I want people to see me and treat me. I’m no saint; trust me, not at all. But I am careful about how much I leave out there because people will use any and everything possible against you to bring you down.
How do you relax?
I try to sneak into the movie theatres occasionally, I hang out with friends and family, I read novels, and I love to travel and just go to places where less people know me so I can walk around and chill.
You like hats a lot, why?
I have stopped wearing them a lot because people make too much of a big deal about it; my last CD cover, I went without it, and I do that a lot more these days. However, I really do like hats, and I think they add to my styling and make me stand out from the crowd.
Last word.
To the fans, thank you so much and God bless you all real good
