UK Daily Mail describes D'banj as a 'legendary womaniser' lol

In a report titled 'Kenya Moore's fake 'African Prince' boyfriend, a 'rented' Bentley and massive money woes: Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore stretches reality TV to the limit' UK Daily Mail describes our Koko Master as a legendary womanizer :-). Read part of the report below
The former Miss USA has been bombarded by claims from co-stars that her story that she's been swept off her feet by an 'African Prince' - who has never been seen - is fake.
MailOnline has learned that the closest anyone has got to guessing the identity of Kenya's mystery man is that he is Nigerian pop star D'Banj - real name Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo.
Kenya has been accused of drawing up an agreement to pay him up to $40,000 to pose as her boyfriend and provide her with an interesting storyline for the upcoming reunion show
D'Banj, who splits his time between Nigeria, the UK and Lagos, is known for his playboy lifestyle as well as his music. He calls girls who are good in bed 'kokos'.
While he may not be quite that rich, D’Banj is a huge star in his home country, where is renowned as a legendary womanizer.
His nickname is the Koko master, which is Nigerian slang for someone who has a harem of women and he has even brought out his own range of condoms. There was talk he would make an appearance in the upcoming RHOA reunion show, but sources at Bravo have revealed this is highly unlikely.
Koko Master means someone who has a harem of women in Nigeria? Lol. Read the full report HERE

Obesere's marriage still intact despite rape accusation

There were reports last week that Obesere's marriage was in trouble after a woman accused him of rape. Obesere said it wasn't rape, but consensual sex. Thing is, he's married and if it was indeed consensual sex, then it means he committed adultery...but despite that revelation, a close friend of the fuji musician said that although his wife was angry about the report, his marriage is still intact.
"His wife does not stay in Nigeria but in Ireland with the children. She comes into the country every three months to check on her husband. Like any human being, she was angry when she heard of the news. She is used to hearing such negative things about her husband but their marriage is still intact. There is no threat of divorce from his wife and there is no rancour between them.”
"Obesere has moved on with his life and was even given a brand new Mercedes Benz G-Wagon SUV by Buruji Kashamu on Sunday when he went to perform in his house for the Women’s Day celebration,” The source told Saturday Punch.

Jonathan's Impossible Rallies

Since late 2013, the Nigerian political atmosphere has been awash with disgruntled politicians moving from one party to another, in what has been termed the season of defection by the media. It was initially thought that the defections would favour the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) by giving it majority in the National Assembly. But that's yet to be seen. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) hasn't been any luckier and has lost key politicians, including incumbent governors and serving lawmakers to the APC.
For starters, defectors are those who have lost to their original party following a feeling of betrayal and decided to switch to another party for a chance to realise either realise the ambition denied them by their former or remain relevant in the scheme of things. Take note, if they were relevant in the scheme of things, they would not have been easily sidestepped.
With nothing to give to their new party other than swell the party's number with hired crowd, they are regarded as liabilities. As it stands in today's Nigeria, you can find defectors in both the ruling PDP and the opposition APC. The only difference between defectors of the two parties is that those of the APC enjoy the power of incumbency, either as governors or lawmakers and their relevance remains until they leave office. In the last few weeks, President Goodluck Jonathan had welcomed defectors from three different states of Sokoto, Imo and Kwara into the PDP. On those three occasions, he was accompanied by major actors in the party including Vice-president, Namadi Sambo; the PDP national chairman, Adamu Mu'azu; Senate President, David Mark; PDP Board of Trustees chairman, Tony Anenih and a host of other party big weights.
According to a television report, the Kwara rally was attended by a large crowd. "There was an overflow at the 30,000 capacity metropolitan square as those who could not access the venue were far more than those inside." It remains unclear if the crowd were supporters of the defectors or they came to have a glimpse of President Jonathan and the PDP national leaders. Astonished at the huge turnout, which Anenih claimed was overwhelming and a confirmation of the presence of the PDP in the state, Mu'azu assured them that PDP remained a populist party and charged them to "Repeat the feat of returning the party to power in the state next year."
Those who had defected included the governorship candidate on the platform of the defunct ACN, Mohammed Dele Belgore; governorship candidate of the defunct CPC, Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq; governorship candidate of the defunct ACPN, Senator Gbemisola Saraki, and former senatorial candidate for Kwara Central under the defunct CPC, Princess Bilqis Gambari. The three governorship candidates had been defeated by the incumbent governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed in the last election. Ahmed who became governor under the PDP, along with his godfather and the acclaimed godfather of Kwara politics, Senator Bukola Saraki, recently defected to the APC.
Surprised at the reception given to the Kwara defectors, political analysts wondered what benefit such defection would offer the ruling PDP. According to them, these are politicians who lost to Ahmed, and judging from the shape of politics in Kwara (citing the political structure of the Saraki), would lose again.
For the losers, they wondered why the president of Nigeria, accompanied by many of the PDP heavy weights would leave the issue of policy making and governance to travel to Kwara and welcome some politicians considered inconsequential. They thought the leadership of the state PDP was enough to receive them.
At the Imo rally held at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri, former governor of the state Chief Achike Udenwa, Senator Chris Anyawu, Senator Ifeanyi Ararume, Chief Mike Ahamba, Chief Cosmas Iwu, Chief Lambert Iheanacho, and Hon. Independence Ogunewe, were welcomed back to the PDP. Udenwa was Imo governor from 1999 to 2007. Critics said part of his failure as a politician was his inability to leave a successor of the PDP extraction. This challenge wasn't made easy by the overbearing influence of his then arch political enemy, Senator Ifeanyi Ararume. During the Imo PDP primaries in 2007, Araume emerged the party's standard bearer but substituted with Charles Ugwu, courtesy of Udenwa. The Supreme Court would later declare the substitution unconstitutional and returned Ararume as the PDP candidate. It is rumoured that Udenwa's PDP decided to play the anti-party card and supported the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate, Martin Agbaso. From Agbaso to Ikedi Ohakim of the Progressive Peoples Alliance (PPA), who later won the election and became governor, the ploy was to edge out a PDP candidate. Suffice it to say that before clinching the PPA ticket, Ohakim was a PDP member. But Udenwa would later fall out with Ohakim and together with one Dr. Alex Obi, formed an alliance with Ararume against Ohakim, by which time Ararume was allegedly involved in propaganda to discredit the administration of Ohakim and was therefore happy to have an ally in Udenwa.
Midway into his administration, Ohakim re-joined the PDP and outwitted both Ararume and Udenwa in the struggle to control the PDP in Imo State. This led to the duo defecting to the then Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN). Thus, during the 2011 election in Imo, Ohakim became the governorship candidate of the PDP, while Ararume became that of ACN and Udenwa ran for Orlu Senatorial seat under the same ACN but lost to Senator Hope Udenwa of the PDP.
Udenwa was accused of betraying Ararume during the election by allegedly working for the incumbent Governor, Rochas Okorocha, under the APGA. It was surprising to many observers that a man with such antecedence would be welcomed back into the PDP with the president in attendance.
To them, it was belittling of the office and person of the president of Nigeria to go to such extent of entertaining the needless only to spite the opposition APC. Mu'azu recently boasted that the APC taught the PDP how to poach members, but experts reckon that if the PDP must copy from the APC, then it should copy well and poach politicians still considered relevant and not jobbers.
The Sokoto raly being the first was not as different. Although Attahiru Bafarawa was a former governor of the state, not only was he unable to install a successor of choice, he has always been in the opposition. As such, if without his input, the governor, Aliyu Wamakko, returned to office, observers hold the view that he would be of no consequence, regardless of his boasting. The three rallies attended by the president came at a time the country was being attacked by members of Boko Haram who's many mass murders such as the despicable killings of innocent pupils and their teachers in Yobe State had plunged Nigerians into mourning. Critics of President Jonathan said he could have busied himself with finding solution to terrorism.
Aside the fact that there are better issues of national importance to occupy the president's time, observers thought the president's welcoming party was uncalled for and a waste of the nation's resources. As well, they cited the power of incumbency which both the governors of Imo and Kwara States enjoy, as a pointer to the fact that the defectors had nothing to offer.
Beyond swelling its numbers with politicians who only saw the PDP as a second choice and platform for achieving personal ambitions, since they couldn't market their ambition on the back of the APC, experts said what the ruling PDP needed were quality personalities who could deliver in 2015.

Fake prophet arrested in Lagos (Photos)

A man named Chuks Samson Obasi, who for many months paraded himself as Dr. Chris Okafor, the General Overseer of Mountain of Liberation & Miracle Ministry, (Liberation City) has been arrested.

The 33year old fake pastor was arrested on Sunday March 9th by Liberation City security operatives, who had been getting complaints from several victims of Mr Obasi. He was nabbed and handed over to the police when he came to the church to collect money from another victim not knowing it was a trap. Continue to see something a church member wrote about the arrest..

The hunt for this fake prophet began when the church realized that some church members were making comments that a man came calling that he is the founder of Liberation City that if they want him to go to their village that they must be ready to give certain amount of money depending on their cases, since then the church has continued to monitor the activities of this evil man, but his cup got filled on a fateful Sunday as he was in church for the first service, at the second service the man of God located a lady called Juliet and the man of God warned Juliet to be wary of fake prophet that is about to defraud her, immediately the lady said one Obasi was in church for the first service that it was the GO that directed that she should follow him (Chuks Obasi) to the mountain for special family deliverance, the contact of the fake prophet was collected and contacted by the church security operatives. The security operatives contacted him in disguise as if they were the lady he was asked to come to makodo to collect the 20,000 agreed with the lady for the deliverance, unknown to him they were security operatives, he came and he was apprehended. While interrogating Chuks Obasi on where he was ordained as a man of God, he said his mother told him he is a special being that God want to use him, that is why he took to this job, he confessed that he is only doing the job to make ends meet and sustain his family, he also said he has duped lots of people pretending to be a popular man of God, he confessed that if the country is good he would not have been doing such hideous acts. Items discovered in his bag are two bottle of anointing oil, bottle of crude oil, various I.D cards, picture of his clients with various letters behind them, his phone which has pictures of him in the beer parlor drinking beer, though he confessed that he is an addicted drunkard, he has since been handed over to the police post at Adogboluja, Ojodu Abiodun, Ogun State

Respond to charges against you and stop misinforming the public - Presidency tells Sanusi

Find the State House press release below...
We have noted with disappointment, the unrelenting attempt by the  Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi to falsely portray his recent suspension from office as an attempt by the Presidency to bury his allegation that huge sums of money due to the Federation Account are unaccounted for by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

The Presidency wishes to reaffirm that Mallam Sanusi’s suspension has absolutely nothing to do with his unproven and inconsistent claim that $49.8 Billion, $12 Billion or $20 Billion is missing from the national treasury. Continue...

As was clearly stated in the letter suspending him from office and confirmed by President Goodluck Jonathan in his last Presidential Media Chat, Mallam Sanusi’s suspension was wholly based on the need for him to step aside while the weighty charges of financial recklessness, gross misconduct and persistent disregard for laid down rules and regulations in the management of the Central Bank made against him by the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria and others are properly investigated.

It is most unfortunate that instead of trying to provide some reasonable response to the clear and unambiguous query of his official conduct as Governor of the Central Bank, Mallam Sanusi  has cynically chosen to whip up public sympathy for himself and anger against the Federal Government by deliberately misleading unwary Nigerians and the international community into believing the falsehood that he is being punished for exposing corruption.

In recent days, the suspended CBN Governor has, following in the footsteps of others who have an axe to grind with the government, taken to spreading his false claims and allegations through gullible foreign media correspondents, telling them among other things that his threat to force commercial banks to open up their books to unravel the whereabouts of the “missing” funds whether $49.8 Billion, $12 Billion or $20 Billion, ultimately led to his suspension.

He also continues to make the mischievous claim that the government is somehow involved in a scam to divert huge sums of money from the Federation Account through the misappropriation of kerosene subsidy funds.

Mallam Sanusi’s allegations are patently untrue. But Government is making no effort to bury them as he falsely claims. Relevant committees of the National Assembly are still investigating the claims and the suspended CBN Governor remains free to give evidence before them in support of his allegations.

Furthermore, in keeping with its avowed commitment to full transparency, openness and accountability in governmental affairs, the Federal Government has authorized the engagement of reputable international firms for the recommended forensic audit of NNPC accounts.

The Presidency condemns Mallam Sanusi’s resort to playing politics with serious national issues.  His suggestion that the phantom missing funds may have been diverted to fund campaigns for next year’s general elections is mischievous, irresponsible and designed to incite other political parties and members of the public against the Federal Government.

The claim which amounts to cheap blackmail against the government and was clearly made in furtherance of a selfish personal agenda is most unbecoming of someone who still holds the High Office of Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The Presidency would not ordinarily have wished to join issues with Mallam Sanusi who as CBN Governor remains an appointee of the President, but the very unacceptable manner in which Sanusi has been misinforming the public made it imperative that this statement be issued.

Chinese satellite find suspected crash site of missing Malaysian flight

A Chinese satellite searching for missing Malaysian Airlines flight has found what is being described as three 'large, floating objects' in the South China Sea, UK Daily Mail reports
The potentially crucial development comes on the fifth day of the search for the Boeing 777 seems to corroborate the testimony of a New Zealand oil worker who claims to have witnessed the crash of the missing airplane early on Saturday morning. Coni
It is also in the original search area under the flight’s original search path and appears to discount the theory that the aircraft turned back towards Malaysia and crashed hundreds of miles away on the other side of the Malaysian peninsula.
'IIt's where it's supposed to be,' Peter Goelz, a former National Transportation Safety Board managing director, told CNN remarking on the 'great skepticism' about reports the aircraft carrying 239 passengers had turned around to go back over Malaysia.

'I think they've got to get vessels and aircraft there as quickly as humanly possible.'
The new suspect crash site is about 140 miles from the flight’s last radar contact as broadcast by its transponder.

The three objects are large, measuring 43ft by 59ft, 46ft by 62ft and 79ft by 72ft.
'Chinese satellites have found smoke and floating objects ... At present we cannot confirm this is related to the missing aircraft,' said Li Jiaxiang, China's civil aviation chief on Thursday.
The site is also near where South China Sea oil rig worker Michael Jerome McKay today described seeing what he believes to be the plane burning - in one piece for 10-15 seconds - flying at a high altitude slightly off from the standard route of planes that cross the sea shortly after the plane vanished.

'There was no lateral movement, so it was either coming toward our location, stationary, or going away from our location,' he wrote in a letter to his employers about the sighting on Saturday and seen by ABC News.

Deputy general director of Vietnam's air traffic management, Doan Huu Gia, confirmed he had been sent an email from McKay, the BBC reported.
'We received an email from a New Zealander who works on one of the oil rigs off Vung Tau.
'He said he spotted a burning [object] at that location, some 300 km southeast of Vung Tau.'
Vietnam has already searched the area where Chinese satellites showed objects that could be debris from a missing Malaysia Airlines jet but a plane has been sent to check the area again, Vietnamese military officials said.

'We are aware and we sent planes to cover that area over the past three days,' Deputy Transport Minister Pham Quy Tieu told Reuters. 'Today a (military) plane will search the area again,' he said.
And on Thursday morning Vietnamese authorities said two military jets searching for clues top the missing Malaysia Airlines jet found no wreckage at the location a Reuters journalist on board said.

Aircraft repeatedly circled the area over the South China Sea but were unable to detect any objects, said the journalist, who flew aboard a Antonov 26 cargo plane for three hours.

China's State Administration for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense announced the discovery of the images in the area where rescuers first started looking on Saturday - along with other images of what appear to show an oil slick tracing the surrounding area.

The images were captured on March 9 - the day after the plane went missing, but were somehow not released until Wednesday. There were 153 Chinese nationals on board the flight.

China's State Administration for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence gave no reason for the delay in releasing the images - or why it has not passed the pictures to Malaysian authorities.

Obesere tells his own side of the story, claims it's an extortion plot

Fuji musician Obesere who is being accused of rape was on the Wazobia show on MITV yesterday to tell his own side of the story. He claims the rape accusation was all a plot to get him to part with millions of Naira. I don't know if this is true, but the saddest thing is, more people would rather believe this story than that the lady was really raped because she willingly went to his house, right? Find what he said below...
She visited me at home at night and it was too late for her to return to her place. I won’t lie about the fact that we had intimate encounter. But I did not rape her. And it was about four or five days after she visited me that she went to the police to allege that I raped her.
I went to the police station but when when I realized that the officers there were favoring her as a complainant, I requested them to transfer the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba. There, they asked her for evidence that she was raped. There was no injury on her. Her clothes were intact.
When she couldn’t produce evidence, the police advised her not to attempt to blackmail me. They advised her to gently approach me and ask for help if she wanted anything. When she first called me to say she was feeling sick, I called the woman who introduced her to me to take her to hospital. But Alhaja said nothing was wrong with her, that she was only trying to extort me. Alhaja said she planned to blackmail me into parting with between five and ten million naira.
I can tell you my enemies are behind the allegation. They are trying to bring me down. But they won’t succeed because I’m a child of God, a messenger of God. Once God remains behind me, nobody can bring me down.
I’m a responsible man, a reliable man. But I’m human and therefore fallible. But I’m not losing sleep about this allegation. I’m undeterred and I’m going about my business because I have no doubt that the truth will prevail.”
